Day 100Part 4: History & Stories

Milestone Letter

One hundred days.

That number deserves a moment of recognition — not celebration, just honest acknowledgment of what it represents.

Most people who sign up for a daily email course are gone by Day 10. The ones who make it to Day 30 are rare. The ones still here at Day 100 are a different category of person entirely.

Think about what the past hundred days have built:

A complete understanding of the monetary system — how money is created, how inflation works, who benefits, and why the problems are structural rather than accidental.

A clear mental model of Bitcoin — what it is, where it came from, why it was designed the way it was, and why the common objections don’t hold up.

Practical knowledge of how to actually engage with Bitcoin — exchanges, wallets, seed phrases, the security principles that protect what you hold.

And now, the history. The early days. The crashes. The custody disasters. The moments when Bitcoin looked finished — and kept going.

There’s a reason the history comes after the foundation. The Mt. Gox story lands differently when you understand seed phrases. The Cyprus bank seizure lands differently when you understand why uncensorable money matters. History without context is just dates and numbers.

With context, it’s a map.

The next fifty days continue that map — the 2017 explosion, the institutional wave, Bitcoin around the world, and the big picture that most financial commentators still haven’t fully absorbed.

See you tomorrow.
